Room 22 made a book box for the book character parade. Our favourite books are the MR GUM books. So we made a 3D box based on the Mr Gum books - here is Mr Gum!

We learnt to curl paper to make his orange beard stand out from the box!

We learnt chopping, slicing, dicing, safe techniques using knives, teamwork and helping each other. We also learnt that making fruit salad out of cut fruit is a physical change.
