Glass smashing 352/365

Love the satisfaction of smashing your own glass at the recycling plant - so much more fun than putting it out on the road for wee men to collect

Pounamu presentation 342/365

Amazing farewell morning tea at Summerland - Brownsie made her divine pecan pie [she never makes for morning teas], Glenny made her equally divine no cook fruit crunch slice and spectacular fudge, Sherry made her to die for chocolate cake and there was a heaps more besides! I felt very touched that staff came in specially for me [Kay on her day off, Janet from an art expo, TA's from duty, Beave from the office] they made me feel very loved and special. Glenny spoke beautifully and presented me with the iPod touch - my new favourite gadget - and Mary spoke about my Pounamu and me and I fell to pieces!
Feeling loved and honoured!

Kiwi tradition 339/365

Interesting Kiwi tradition of trashing the neighborhood of stuff that can't be trashed environmentally - love the neighborhood turning into a rubbish pile - where does it all go I ask?
